Professional Overview
Christine is the Managing Partner of Equestrian Enterprises, an equestrian event production management company developing the original west coast equestrian dates from Del Mar to Thermal. Specializing also in consulting, sourcing, developing, and managing high-performance sport horses, FEI-level training programs, and equestrian investment vehicles. She operates the company alongside her lifelong mentor, Robin Serfass, widely regarded as the godmother of the West Coast equestrian industry, and a horseman’s hall of fame inductee.
Christine is a multidisciplinary equestrian executive, investor, and operator with more than 20 years of experience across elite sport horse development, large-scale event production, equestrian real estate development, farm management, therapeutic and scholastic riding programs. Her career blends high-performance equestrian sport with sophisticated business architecture—positioning her uniquely for advisors and institutional partners seeking exposure to the rapidly growing global equestrian asset class.
Equestrian Background & Riding Career
Christine spent two decades as a professional rider, trainer, and young horse developer, riding for multiple Olympic and FEI professionals and major breeding and training programs across the U.S. and internationally. Her early career included:
- Riding under and alongside top American and European riders, gaining deep, hands-on expertise in sport-horse selection, biomechanics, and long-term performance development.
- Managing and operating elite equestrian programs during her youth and early 20s, ultimately overseeing horses with national Grand Prix and High-Jump records.
- Starting and producing young prospects and retraining difficult horses—advancing to elite competitive careers.
Christine’s athletic foundation continues to inform her current work in investment, risk assessment, talent sourcing, and FEI-level performance direction.
Event Production, Show Management & Scholastic Leagues
With more than two decades embedded in the infrastructure side of the sport, Christine has contributed extensively to West Coast Horse Show Production & Operations.
Mentored by and later partnered with Robin Serfass, Christine trained within the original West Coast management ecosystem—from Del Mar to Indio/Thermal, and the foundational circuits that shaped modern FEI competition in California. Her work spans:
Large-scale event operations • Sponsorship and vendor program development • Facility logistics, scheduling, and athlete experience design • VIP, hospitality, and exhibitor-facing services • Scholastic & Inter-Scholastic Equestrian Programs • Therapeutic Riding & Community Programs
Christine has operated, developed, and advised scholastic riding leagues serving junior athletes—building participation pipelines, curriculum structures, and safety standards. She has also supported and assisted therapeutic riding programs, integrating equine-assisted emotional and physical development into local community organizations.
Equestrian Real Estate Development & Advisory Work
Christine has a long track record in equestrian land development, facility design, and private real estate ventures—spanning the US, Mexico, and Central America.
SilverLakes Equestrian Development — Early Concept Pilot
While completing her Chemistry degree at the University of California, Riverside, Christine helped pilot the original concept and early-stage equestrian footprint through city council for what would later become the SilverLakes Equestrian & Sports Park in Norco, CA—eventually completed by Robert Ridland and RJ Brandes.
This early project was foundational for her ability to integrate:
- Land-use planning
- Sports infrastructure
- Investor return models
- Community and zoning requirements
Christine later collaborated with Questre, one of Mexico’s most forward thinking development groups, contributing to community design strategy and master plan integration. She has also consulted on and contributed to multiple private equestrian estates, ranches, and investment properties across the U.S. Mexico and South America.
Family Real Estate Holdings — California & Pennsylvania
Christine actively participates in the operation and development of her family’s agricultural and equestrian farms in both California and Pennsylvania, including equestrian facility design and management, investment planning and asset redevelopment, land stewardship and long term strategic positioning. Her own passion for horses began at her aunts therapeutic riding center in Cleveland Ohio, Victory Gallop.
